Wrestling Terminology & Categories

  • Age Divisions (6U, 8U, 10U, 12U, 14U, 18U): Strictly based on age ("Under" specified age), regardless of school grade.
  • Grade Divisions:
    • Youth: Elementary School (primarily 1st – 6th Grade).
    • MS (Middle School): Grade-based competition (typically 6th–8th Grade).
    • HS (High School): Grade-based competition (9th–12th Grade).
  • Duals: Team competitions where Legend Wrestling competes head-to-head against opposing clubs.
  • Open: Individual tournaments where wrestlers compete independently.
